Until the end of February, I’m mentoring a younger colleague as she/we translate the biography of the late Russian anarchist and antifascist Alexei Sutuga (“Sokrat”) into German; the book should be published later in the year by Edition A in Germany.

From March to May, I’ll be translating a collection of essays on Bosnian culinary culture by the author and publisher Muamer Spahić. Subsequently I’ll be working on the poetry collection of a Croatian wordsmith. Both translations are into English.

My projects for the second half of the year have yet to be finalised, but a number are in the pipeline.

I’ll be on a literary residency in Split (Croatia) in November.
